This biography honours the achievements of Theordore August Link, the petroleum geologist responsible for discovering the Norman Wells oil field, pioneering the use of cross-section models in geological work, the commercial use of airplanes in the North and the use of aerial photography in geological surveying, and serving as chief geologist of the CANOL Project.
