    Productivity calculation of agricultural land is to calculate and estimate comprehensive productivity of agricultural land, which is the transformation and application for agricultural land grading results. In this study, the productivity calculation of agricultural land in Liaoning Province based on theory and technical method of productivity calculation was investigated from four aspects of county, city, classification index area and farmland classification. The comprehensive productivity of agricultural land was analyzed based on empirical analysis from regional distribution, natural condition and utilization level. The results showed that(1) the high theoretical, feasible and real productivity of agricultural land area was concentrated in the middle plain and piedmont plain of Liaoning Province, in which the natural classification was in the levels of 13 to 21 and the utilization classification was in the levels of 7 to 13. The comprehensive utilization coefficient in this area was higher due to the advantageous natural condition;(2) the total value of productivity was highly correlated with farmland area of county, city and classification index area. Therefore, farmland area was the dominant factor, while yield level was the secondary factor;(3) agricultural land grading results was the basis for productivity calculation of agricultural land, which should renew timely. In addition, the monitor sample should be set permanently.
