Abstract:
A Middle to Upper Bispathodus costatus Zone conodont fauna is described from the top of the Phyllite-Quartzite Group in the Iberian Pyrite Belt. The colour of the conodonts is in agreement with the very-low-grade regional metamorphism in the pumpellyite facies. Keywords:

A Lower marginifera Zone conodont fauna is described from the Phyllite-Quartzite Group in the Estacao de Ourique anticline in the Iberian Pyrite Belt. The composition of the fauna is indicative of a shallow to very shallow marine environment.
