A new texture classification method based on singular value decomposition(SVD) and wavelet transform is presented. Wavelet transform is employed on texture images having been preprocessed with SVD. The elements of the signature vector of an image are the fractal dimensions and barycentric coordinates of the bit planes of the wavelet coefficients in both the 3-Level high frequency domains and the third low frequency domain. The one-nearest-neighbor classifier with standard L-norm distance is utilized to perform supervised texture classification. Compared with some other classification methods, the method is experimentally proved more efficient and less time-consuming.
After analyzing the present state of soil resource pattern, ecological environment and forest type structure, by using the fixed of forest industry region in Heilongjiang province with the GIS techniques. It'shows that the soil resource pattern and forest type structure of the forest industry region are not legal. The soil resource used in ecological public benefit forest will be increased to more than seventy percent . The measure of increasing percetage of public benefit forest will play an important role to enforce the sustainable management of nature forest and to protect nature forest of the forest industry region in Heilongjiang province. The satellite remote sensing analysis showed that visible albedo and vegetation index of coastal shelterbelt system were between those of the sea and forest. Surface temperature of the system was the highest among several kinds of surfaces at 8,30. At 14,00 its surface temperature and temperature difference were between those of the sea and forest.
The Cambrian period is one of the most important potash-forming eras on the Earth. The Siberian Niepa potash deposit that formed in the late Cambrian is one of the largest potash deposits in the world. India and Pakistan also found potash deposits forming in Late Sinian. In Iran are discovered potash deposits in the Cambrian System. Contrast to the potash-forming intensity of other continents, the Cambrian period has become a special potash-forming age in Asia. Recently, more and more Cambrian evaporite basins have been found in China. This study focuses on presentation of the characteristics of the upper Yangtze evaporites, and states that there is more than 200,000 km2 evaporite basins in the upper Yangtze area, and delineates two most favorable areas for potash (sub-basin of gypsum-halite ): i.e. the Jiangjin-Luzhou and Jiannan -Pengshui areas. These two areas are good geologic settings for further investigation.
By using the method of combining the investigation and remote sensing date,base on the fixed situation,use manner,desertification degree and land desertification degree index of the desertification land,the structure and dynamics of desertification land in Chifeng city during 1994 and 2004 were studied comprehensively.It is show that total desertification land area and the land with obvious desertification trend is 1 914 982.6 hm~2 and(1 029 690.3) hm~2,22.2% and 11.9% of the total area of Chifeng city respectively.From point of fixed situation,shifting sandy land,half-fixed sandy land,fixed sandy land,exposure sandy land and desertification cultivated land is 7.8%,10.1%,80.5%,0.5% and 1.1% respectively.From point of use manner,desertification cultivated land,desertification forest land,desertification grassland and unused desertification land is 1.1%,24.8%,65.8% and 8.3% respectively.From point of desertification degree,light desertification land,middle desertification land,serious desertification land and super serious desertification land is 46.4%,35.2%,10.1% and 8.3% respectively.The land desertification degree index range of different counties varies greatly,Hongshan district is 0,Wengniute county is 22.45.During 1994 to 2004,the desertification land of Chifeng city reduce 748 797.3 hm~2,reduce 28.1%.Fixed sandy land increase 5.6%,half fixed sand reduce 47.4%,shifting sandy land reduce 24.8 %,exposure sandy land increase 223.7 % and desertification cultivated land reduce 96.7%.The land desertification degree index reduce 23.20%,the most is 100 % which take placed in Hongshan district where no sandy land present now,and the lest is 4.8 % and 6.9 % which take placed in Keshiketeng county and Wengniute county.
